R.I.P Gil Scott-Heron

One of the Greatest....passed away today.
"The Revolution will not be televised" and "Home is were the hatred is", are two of my personal favorite songs of all time.

WEEK IN REVIEW (sort of)

First and foremost, had a meeting with the "Varsity Squad" and though I would like to discuss the outcome of the meeting...lets just say that the near future is about to become really interesting.

The RyhmeCalistetics looks like its about to actually be picked up and get a tv show......(can't really talk about the really as well....for now). I don't think my involvement will be that big, but I am still happy that I was/am part of the reason why the tv show is going to actually see he light of day.

The actor Lamman Rucker (a Pittsburgh native) stopped by my after school program at Westinghouse earlier this week and briefly chilled and took pics with the my students.

Tonight is of course "Classic Material" at the Shadow lounge....the reggae edition...gonna be live.  I am not Djing this one...but me and T-Note will semi-host the event.  Not really feeling the flyer for this edition (hate to say it), but Classic Material is about the best event every Month...and I will be Spinning at the next one.

Guess Who's Back

I usually don't post other peoples work, but Beedie is fam and this joint is just incredible...I missed out on being on the album, but will be on the "Varsity Squad" album...and he is on my record. If you scroll down the page, you will see him laying his verse on the Billy Dee Millions Record. This cat deserves the big deal. Check out the video shot by Rex-Arrow, he is a beast as well.

IN WITH THE NEW

Been a hectic month (to say the least) I think I have edited more video/film this past few weeks than I have in quite some time.   The good thing about that is (of course) the money, the bad thing is...the time.  I haven't uploaded any new video in ages, partially because most of the pieces I have worked on, were/are for clients.  By the end of this week (yes another promise) I will be adding  bunch of new videos, music and pics.

Looking at hopefully renting a floor at this building in Mckeesport to have a physical space to do my work, I will also probably be looking to hire people to assist with what is looking to be a busy summer.  I should be uploading footage from the Ryhmecalistetics that took place in New York and in DC (Howard University), another Marcy Video, Exclusive Mike Epps footage, Dead Prez and many more...........Here are a few behind the scene pics from a few shoots.
